          Today is the International Day of The Girl Child. It was coined this way to fight for equality between the two genders. The female child is a special child. She births, nurtures, tends, supports, encourages and cultivates.           The benefits of having a girl child are quite amazing, that is why educating the girl child should be every parent's duty. An educated girl will become an educated woman, and an educated woman will become an educated mother. An educated mother educates the world. On the other hand, an uneducated mother therefore is not empowered to educate her child and the world at large.
